Vocational Officers

The Vocational Officers organise programmes and activities in the following areas;

• The Creative Industries,
• Business, Finance and IT,
• Health and Social Care,
• Science, Engineering and Construction.

 
Each Officer has relevant expertise in their area. They work with Higher Education Institutions, colleges
and employers, offering tailored programmes and activities. These are designed to enhance the young learners’ experience of a subject as well as enriching and providing support in it.

Furthermore, each officer has links with relevant industry professional bodies and organisations which
are utilised when developing the programmes or activities.

These activities highlight progression routes, enrich curriculum delivery and motivate the learners.
In addition they are also designed to inform learners of how the skills and knowledge required for
these sectors are transferable across a range of industries and organisations.
